Things researchers ask before they order.
Who is allowed to purchase from TITAN AMINO?
Orders are accepted only from qualified researchers purchasing on behalf of a research institution, contract laboratory, university group, or comparable scientific entity. We do not sell to consumers and we do not accept personal-use orders.
Are these products legal to buy in the United States?
We sell research-grade reference compounds for in-vitro laboratory use only. We do not ship to any state, jurisdiction, or buyer where the sale of the specific compound is restricted. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm local legality of receipt and possession for their intended in-vitro research.
Do you accept returns or refunds?
No. Because of the research-grade nature of our reference compounds and the fact that we cannot verify storage or handling once a parcel has left our control, all sales are final — we do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges after a purchase has been completed. The one exception is a verified COA-purity mismatch: if you send your lot to an independent analytical laboratory and the measured purity does not match the value printed on the third-party Certificate of Analysis we shipped with the order, contact the research desk within fourteen days of delivery with the order number, lot identifier, and the lab's independent results. Confirmed COA discrepancies are eligible for a full refund or replacement at our discretion.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cryptocurrency is currently our only accepted payment method. After you place an order it goes On Hold; our research desk monitors the destination wallet for the inbound transfer, and your order moves to Processing and ships as soon as the payment is confirmed on-chain.
How should I evaluate a lot before relying on it for a study?
Open the Certificate of Analysis linked on the product page. Confirm the lot identifier on the COA matches the lot identifier stamped on the vial, that the report date is recent, that the issuing laboratory is the one named on the COA, and that the assay methods cover what your protocol requires (HPLC-UV purity, LC-MS identity, and where applicable endotoxin and residual-solvent panels). If anything looks off, email the research desk before opening the vial.
How does crypto payment confirmation work?
When you submit an order, it lands in a manual-review queue and our research desk watches the destination wallet for an inbound transfer. As soon as the transfer is confirmed on-chain, your order moves from On Hold to Processing and we begin packing. You receive an email at each state transition. Typical confirmation time is under one business day.
Are there fees for crypto payments?
On our side there are no surcharges for paying in crypto. The only costs are the on-chain network/gas fees your sending wallet charges at the time of the transfer, which we do not control. The amount we ask you to send is the cart total in US dollars; please cover the network fee on top of that so the received amount matches your invoice.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time we ship only within the United States. Cross-border movement of reference compounds raises customs, import-control, and chain-of-custody issues that we do not yet have the documentation framework to support reliably. If you represent a non-US institution, please reach out to the research desk so we can route you to an appropriate channel.
